Ball Hosts the LA Rams at Monterrey Plant
September 20, 2024
In celebration of the NFL season kicking off, and the ongoing partnership with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, Ball Corporation recently hosted the Los Angeles Rams at Ball’s manufacturing plant in Monterrey, Mexico.
The celebration at the plant welcomed Rams legend and Superbowl champion Torry Holt, along with Ram’s cheerleaders and the team’s mascot Rampage.
Torry Holt and Rampage joined the plant’s leadership team on a tour of the facility, learning more about Ball’s work in aluminum manufacturing. The visit was capped off with a lively pep rally for more than 350 Ball employees and their families, which included a photobooth, games, and food stations.
Ball employees had the chance to win Rams gear and tickets to the Monterrey watch party later that weekend, with the grand prize being a trip to Los Angeles to see a Rams game at SoFi Stadium later in the 2024-2025 season. The lucky staff who won tickets to the Monterrey watch party gathered to watch the Rams take on the Detroit Lions, making it an unforgettable celebration!
When the event wrapped, attendees agreed that a highlight of the day was when the Rams and Ball teams came together to fill backpacks donated by Ball employees with school supplies for students at Ciudad de los Niños de Monterrey, A.B.P.
It was a true pleasure to host the Rams organization at Ball Corporation's Monterrey plant and connect over community, sustainability, and football. The Rams' commitment to empowering communities by giving back is core to Ball's mission, and what makes this partnership so special – five seasons and counting.
Hosting the Rams offered a unique opportunity for Ball to build upon ongoing partnership with the team, and showcase the incredible work of Ball's Monterrey team. Built in 2015, the 750k sq ft plant manufacturers four different aluminum beverage can and end sizes to serve Ball’s soft drink and beer customers in Mexico and the U.S. - making them invaluable to the Ball ecosystem.
Weaving together community, a long day of work, and lots of fun – the visit exemplified Ball’s values of We Care. We Work. We Win.
