Ball Corporation Announces Public Offering of Senior Notes

BROOMFIELD, Colo., May 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ball Corporation (NYSE: BLL) announced today that it has commenced a public offering of approximately $600 million in aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes due 2023. The exact terms and timing of the offering will depend upon market conditions and other factors. Ball intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to pay the consideration, accrued and unpaid interest and related fees and expenses in connection with today's previously announced tender offer and related consent solicitation for any and all of its outstanding 7.125% Senior Notes due 2016, to repay borrowings under its revolving credit facilities, and for general corporate purposes.

Deutsche Bank Securities; BofA Merrill Lynch; Goldman, Sachs & Co.; Barclays; Wells Fargo Securities; RBS Securities Inc.; KeyBanc Capital Markets; and J.P. Morgan are acting as joint book-running managers of the offering.
